Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and is of Chinese heritage, yet her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from a Southern family. Her parents divorced when she was only two years old. Her mother raised her as well as her stepfather who is an United States Air Force officer. Olivia was raised at Tokyo and Japan. While the family moved out of Oklahoma to various other locations, it was the city of Tokyo that she received the majority of her education. At this point, she appeared in various local theater productions and later began modeling in the Japanese fashion industry. After the family returned home to United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her aspirations of becoming a professional actress. Olivia's career began to take off after just a couple of tiny role. She landed the part of Mily in the series with a Hawaii lens Beyond the Break (2005) and also the receptionist part for Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She hosts "The Daily Nut" and"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" podcasts on G4. Her love of surfing is something she's continued since the 2006 TV show Beyond the Break. Additionally, she holds an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mom remarried. The second time, she got married to an US Air Force serviceman. Though the family had moved numerous times, the vast majority of her existence was in Tokyo Japan in Japan, which is the area in which her father worked for the military. The University of Oklahoma is where she pursued her journalism studies, along with minors in Japanese Drama, dramatic and arts.
