Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the US. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. The desire to become an artist was inspired by her family background as a member of a New York family of artists. When she was assistant to photographers, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. She was noticed in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought the world to her and also an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw became the most popular female box office star across the globe. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw was married three times.
